Lewis County Fire District #14 is a municipality and was formed January 23, 1962 by a vote of the people.

In May 1979, an area south of Randle, known as the Cispus Valley, was annexed by a vote of the people. Lewis County Fire District #14 – Randle Fire & EMS is located in the unincorporated community of Randle, WA. The Fire District provides fire protection and emergency services to approximately 1881 residents living in approximately 105 square miles.
